Nita Clarke
President and Chief Creative Officer Nita Clarke has been writing since she was a young girl. Her published works include: Timothy and the Blanket Fairy, The Mystery at RanchoVerde and The Mint Julep Trilogy (Days 1, 2 and 3). She is a native of the Bayous of Louisiana and currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky. Nita attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette where she studied English/Journalism. Incomplete works include My 60th Birthday (The day my brain cells turned into fairy dust) and a one-act play entitled Afrikan-Amerikana. She has worked for KSLO/KOGM Radio in Opelousas and KJAE/KLLA Radio in Leesville, Louisiana as a Talk Radio Announcer as well as K-22 Television in Opelousas as Program Director. Nita is a Vietnam-era Veteran where she served the U.S. Navy as a Military Journalist and in Public Affairs.
Stephanie Clarke
Stephanie Clarke is the Chief Operations Officer of Gracie Mae Publications. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Kentucky.
Stephanie has extensive management experience in the Information Technology and Service industries. Stephanie has successfully generated and implemented projects rearing revenue of more than 10 million dollars. She serves Gracie Mae Publications’ administrative business interests, marketing, sales and promotions. Stephanie is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of the Strategic Vision required to meet the goals of Gracie Mae Publications.
Gwen Hameed
Gwen Grevious Hameed joins Gracie Mae Publications as the Director of Finance. Upon retirement as the Accounting Manager for the Harold A. Dawson company in Atlanta, Georgia, Gwen will bring 36 years of accounting expertise to Gracie Mae Publications. Her distinguished career began in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky, at the Fayette County Courthouse. In the early 1980s, Gwen moved to Atlanta and accepted accounting positions with Brencor Inc., Equitable Real Estate, and the Coca Cola Company. Gwen is responsible for leading and managing financial and accounting policy, systems and processes and financial modeling.
